From the North: Interstate 64 East towards Richmond. I-64 East becomes Interstate 95 South. Travel 28 miles on I-95 South and take the Rives Road/VA 629/Exit 47. At the stop sign turn left onto Rives Road and travel 2 miles. Go over the railroad tracks to the stop light. Turn right onto US-460 East. Travel Hwy. 460 East for 23.5 miles. In the town of Wakefield, pass the Virginia Diner on the right; see Tidewater Academy on the right, ¼ mile past the Virginia Diner.
From the South: From Emporia, Interstate 95 North towards Petersburg and drive approx 19 miles. Take Exit 31 towards Stony Creek/Waverly/Virginia Rt. 40 East. Merge onto 40 East towards Waverly. Stay on Rt. 40 East for approx 20 miles. At the stoplight in the town of Waverly, turn Right onto Highway 460 East. Travel 8 miles to the town of Wakefield, and pass the Virginia Diner on the right; see Tidewater Academy on the right, ¼ mile past the Virginia Diner.
From the East: Interstate 264 West toward Richmond/US-13/Military Highway. Merge onto Interstate 664 North/Hampton roads Belt toward US-13/Bowers Hill/US-58/ Suffolk/US-460. Travel 1 mile, then merge onto US-13/US-460 West/US-58 West via Exit 13A toward Suffolk. Travel 11 miles. Merge onto US-460 West toward Petersburg. Travel 26 miles to Wakefield on Highway 460 West. Go through the stoplight in Wakefield, travel ¼ mile, and see Tidewater Academy on the left.
From Williamsburg: Jamestown Road/Rt. 31 to the Jamestown Ferry. Cross the James River on the Ferry and continue to follow Rt. 31 for approx 25 miles. At the stoplight in Wakefield, turn right onto Highway 460 West. Drive ¼ mile, see Tidewater Academy on the left.
